What happens as time passes?

Something that becomes a problem as time progresses and we get older, our body produces less collagen as we get older. To start, your skin becomes less supple. In addition, wrinkles may become more evident because less collagen is being produced to fill them in. Your hair may become more thin and weak, and your joints may become stiff.

Is there anything that may be used to seemingly replace collagen?

In regards to physical appearance, there are a few ways you may be able to possibly appear more youthful. To start, you may look into a treatment such as microdermabrasion or microneedling which may induce the body into producing more collagen. On the other hand, you may be able to receive fillers, such as Juvéderm or Restylane, to reduce their appearance.

How would microneedling and microdermabrasion benefit you?

Microneedling and microdermabrasion, both minimally invasive procedures, may benefit your body with collagen production. Microneedling is a treatment that consists of minimally invasive procedure in which a tool with very small needles grazes the skin, creating unseen wounds on the skin which is the most natural method to induce collagen production. On the other hand, microdermabrasion is a treatment which lightly scrapes the top layer of skin away to reveal the layer underneath and may induce collagen production.

How would a filler benefit you?

A filler may be a good idea if you are looking to replace the appearance of more collagen.
